The Glorious Church Outreach Service and Welfare Day

The Redeemed Christian Church of God- Glorious church Ikota held her First Community Welfare service and as expected the outreach led to an influx of Non-members to the church who benefitted from the service.

According to Pastor Karl, the resident Pastor of the Parish, he posited that we must live an exemplary life of Jesus Christ in the area of service and in the area of reaching out in envangelism using different methods.

The outreach and welfare service used free medical facilities and giving of cloths and foodstuff to reach out to the less privileged as a way of giving back to the community where we minister. He further encouraged through Pastor Mrs Karl Okafor to see Hospitality and service as a way of life and God will always reward our work and uplifts us in the open while we give secretly and serve him with an open heart free of hate and backbiting.

The Welfare Coordinator in-charge who is also a lab Scientist in the person of Deaconess Bola Oyelami was granted interview and she used the opportunity to express her gratitude to the church for engaging in this outreach this year again as have been subsequently done. However, she used the opportunity to solicit for more sponsorship and more funds to assist the organization in their Rural outreaches. Below is the interview from the coordinator.
